Today was our first time covering a Coffs Harbour Boardriders Club event. You’ll see us around abit more as we get more involved over time, but lets talk about today.
I’m sore. I’m tired. I’m full.
This club is full of incredible people. When you join new things you kinda feel hesitant to dive right in. But honestly, the people from management to the groms are amazing.
But I shot for 5 hours today. I don’t think I’ve ever shot that long, and i am cooked.
- Lessons learned:
- Water. I need more water
- Sunscreen from the start, you goose.
- I need to buy a mono-pod (stick thing for my camera so my wrist isn’t doing all the heavy loading).
- If the weather report says something, and its a comp day, it’s probably lying.
- Top tier bacon and egg rolls on the beach can change a life. Thank you ladies!
- Make room for about 15gbs of photos before trying to upload a comp.
I haven’t uploaded all the photos here. That will happen through CHBC channels. But here are a couple of my favourites.
If you’re featured in a photo and want the high res, let me know via email or Instagram / Facebook. I’m more than happy to share photos of you for you to keep, print, frame etc. You are the hero, i just get to capture the moment.
