It’s not every day you get one of Australia’s best wave to yourself.
We rocked up and low and behold, a tiny wave up north. No one on it. Ella had the spot all to her self. Plenty of eyes watching on the hill, but no one game to try and grab a few. But Ella doesnt care. We know that at any time there could be 20-40 people on the point. She took the gamble and got 4-6 really fun waves in 40 mins. The swell periods were slow. But it was worth it. Probably also being alone, in the water and in the sun.
After a couple of waves though she was joined by some other frothers. Can’t keep a good thing to yourself for too long.
