Rocked up to the beach with zero wind. Which is fantastic when the prediction was NW. What this means as a photographer though is sea mist. Sea Mist clouds the ocean and until a wind comes (which happened around 7:30am) it makes it very tricky to shoot, because you are now shooting through a wall of light, as the sun is captured by the water particles. 

Plus, I am shooting with an old camera as my main body needs repair. This makes for some more fun challenges.

Luckily for me, the waves were fun. I believe fun-er than they looked from the shore. Everyone seem to come in with a pep in their step.
