It’s the last day of my christmas break from work, so we decided to make a meal of it. Put the call out, and headed to our recent magic spot. It was a little less magic than a few days ago, the wind was up, the crowds were up (it was Sunday after all) and within the space of 10 mins the wind went from raging northerly to raging southerly.
Surfers battled and held on to hope, but within the next 30 mins the beach we were at was bare and the story written for the morning.
