When we rocked up this morning I had little hope. The skies were grey, there was a slight drizzle of rain, and at first glance, it didn’t seem like much was going on wave wise.
90 mins later I stand corrected (I even posted a “meh” on my instagram stories). Ella surfed her brains out. The nicest part of the morning was seeing the corner work with some long right-runners. I haven’t seen this beach work like that in a long time.
So, maybe this is the year for good waves? Maybe the banks will be in our favour. Maybe we get a winter swell, or maybe… we are just grateful living in the best place on the planet (but please send some winter swell oh lord of the seas).
